Who is letting their 3 year old eat “a couple slices of pizza”?
Edit: Below is a DiGiorno cheese pizza. This is for 1/4 of the pizza, which is two slices if it is cut into 8. This particular pizza is a 12" pie and equates to about a Medium from a typical restaurant. It is roughly half of a daily recommended intake of nutrients and calories for a three year old, and nearly 100% of their daily sodium recommendations, all in two fairly small slices. By all means, let your kids eat all the pizza they want… I’m sure the childhood obesity problem will sort itself out.
At no point is the size of the slice specified. We could be talking about a square-cut pizza or a pie-cut with thin (child-sized) slice. Maybe don’t jump straight to bad parenting on a cute story like this.
Wha? Toddlers are perfectly capable of eating pizza, lol. My 2-year-old fucking loves pizza. She’ll definitely eat a couple slices from a medium sized pizza no problem.
i’ve got garlic salt, garlic powder, minced garlic, whole garlic, and a ginger garlic paste. granted, my spice rack is two shelves in the cabinet and another drawer, and an entire shelf in the fridge.
Damn, that’s a lot of space just for spices. Tbh, I wouldn’t get those even if I had the space because I haven’t yet found a recipe in which fresh garlic isn’t better than the alternatives, but that might just be me not knowing how to use them. I would find other things to fill up that space with, tho xD
we’ve got three adults here who all cook well and have our own strong opinions. the spice cabinet was originally just one shelf but it has expanded as we picked up more styles of cooking. the drawer is my private stash, the second shelf is my wife’s, the fridge shelf is mostly mustards and sauces but you know.
Salt is very dangerous for kids. It’s made from mixing a chemical that explodes on contact with water and a chemical that the Nazis used to gas people.
Not to mention, eating too much pizza is bad for more reasons than just salt and/or sodium, lol. Regardless, that’s why you don’t give toddlers (or kids/people in general) pizza all day, every day. It’s a go-to kind of food when you’ve been solo parenting, are dead ass tired/in a rush, and don’t feel like cooking that night.
An 18-inch diameter loaded with meaty toppings, on a crust robust enough to lift the triangle? Or mingy squares of paper-thin crust with a mere swipe of sauce and suggestion of cheese?

That’s too much salt for someone that size.
What if it’s homemade pizza to which you only add the bare minimum amount of salt?
gasp! my pizza bones! how dare you not put garlic salt on them!
Cause I put minced garlic in the tomato sauce. Seems more natural and also keeps the spice rack smaller.

The dangers about salt and/or sodium intake are somewhat overblown. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-salt-bad-for-you

Two slices is not a lot for a 3 year old.
Plus I’m sure they didn’t eat the crust
we serve our pizzas with this if we haven’t garlicked up the crust. yeah, they eat our crusts.
Well, it could also mean 3+ slices…
Two slices is plenty for a full grown adult.
That depends on the pizza.

I’m a grown adult, and I can barely eat two slices.
Right? I assume its like a pizza on a tortilla or something, not like a slice from a 14" round.
