Articles like this don’t reflect the fact that the suffering endured by the Palestinian people through Israel’s genocidal reprisal has been disproportionately greater by a wide margin than the atrocities committed on October 7.

Your criticism is unfair. The Guardian has published far more articles about the suffering of Palestinian than about the suffering of Israelis.

There’s gonna be a lot of these for the next month because of the American election and support of Israel’s ongoing genocide is going to be a big issue.

And if Dems take power they’ll drop their new found anti-genocide rhetoric like it’s a 2,000 lbs bomb.

          Well, you’re wrong…

And a month before an important midterm election, it’s pretty suspect that you’re just repeating Putin’s decade old propaganda.

Especially since you’re account is filled with equating every other option as just as bad as Putin/trump and that no one should do anything to oppose them.

No one’s gonna fall for that shit in 2026, so the few people repeating it are hard to take seriously

The 2023 and 2024 bullshit is starting again. I just hope more people are inoculated to it then were back then. Because this shit isn’t going to stop before 2028 if ever.

Harris was a horrible candidate and lost because of that. If only she was the worst we had to deal with. Lotta people still regretting being manipulated into voting for trump or abstaining in areas their votes might have mattered.

WTF does this have to do with Putin? Where the fuck did that come from? I mean like… Wow. 😂

My guy, the massive majority of deaths in this genocide happened under a Dem administration, with almost unanimous bipartisan support. Rashida TlaibNd Ilhan Omar were literally the only Dems that opposed the genocide from the start. I repeatedly watched Biden spread blood libel lies from his campaign podium, against the very people he was enacting genocide against, saying he saw Hamas behead babies with his “own eyes”.

I absolutely think you should be opposing genocide, and that sure as fuck ain’t “voting harder”. Chump.

The DNC holds the ONLY anti-genocide and pro-Palestine politicians of any significance whatsoever.

They’re also the least hostile to the anti-genocide and pro-Palestine crowd by a COLOSSAL margin.

Why don’t you take your 2016 delusions and shove them up your ass?

How is that when they oversaw the massive lion’s share of deaths, all while giving unflinching support and weapons? FFS, Biden repeatedly told debunked blood libel lies against the very people he was enacting genocide against, all from his campaign podium, saying he saw beheaded babies with his “own eyes”.

Make it make sense to me. Are we even on the same planet?

Yeah, the genocide is still unfolding, and it’s been going on for 78 years.

Also, the DNC is only the leadership that gatekeeps actual progressives who would oppose genocide, the MOST genocidal ghouls of all the Democrats.

Why would I do that? Are you an accelerationist?

If there is an anti genocide candidate on my ballot then I’ll vote for them.

You want to know where my line is? It’s genocide. I will not vote for a genocidal candidate.

My house rep is Emily Randall. I will not vote. Everyone on my ballot is genocidal, in the bluest of blue districts.

Take comfort in the fact that my vote never mattered anyways, like 90% of Americans in decided districts and states.

If it was up for a straight referendum vote then the genocide would end tomorrow, like so many other injustices, but instead we have unanimous consensus from our supposed representatives that’s diametrically opposed to the people’s actual popular democratic mandates.

            Make that make sense.

            This is not a democracy.

I mean, Netanyahu didn’t just allows funds to be smuggled to Hamas thru Israeli checkpoints…

He personally solicited donations from other countries while promising to allow it 100% thru checkpoints, and actually kept his word.

      Hamas exists for two reasons:

      1. To give Netanyahu a boogey man to justify canceling elections.

      2. To say that Palestinians can’t go wrn themselves.

It’s not just that they had Intel it was coming, today’s Israeli government is the only reason Hamas still exists or had the funds to carry it out.

So you’re probably right, but it kind of doesn’t matter because it’s definitely 1,000x worse than that.

Pieces like these are like if they talked about how sad Berliners were about the Reichstag fire 4 years into the Holocaust. And that fire was also a false flag like Oct 7th has been revealed to effectively have been.

Like, who really gives a fuck about the suffering of Israeli hostages as tens of thousands of Palestinians have been tortured, massacred, raped, starved, bombed, shot, etc?

Israel is the best case for a country that simply should not exist and cannot exist if we want to have anything even resembling peace and stability.

In the long arc of history it is inevitable. The occupation is not sustainable. The Crusader Kingdom itself only lasted one century. I have little doubt that Israel will end before that long. The question is, will this apocalyptic cult of Zionism take all humanity along with it? It’s possible that all of our days are numbered.

          Optimist? Maybe, maybe not.

You support Israel? Russia supports Palestinian liberation.

I support the democratic human right of self determination, same for Palestine as the Donbass.

Let people vote. It’s a simple rule I follow, applied even for our supposed “enemies”.

And our “allies”? America is arming over 80% of the world’s dictatorship, not Russia.

If you see democracy as a universal principle, and not a privilege enjoyed on the backs of the oppressed, not a selective cudgel to steal natural resources, then that makes America the least democratic nation on Earth.

            Nobody should support Israel.

Just as nobody should support the russian invasion of Ukraine. It’s crazy how people can flip the narrative and start speaking about how Ukraine isn’t having elections as some kind of gotcha when the entire reason is due to the invasion from their neighbors to the east.

The US is fucked for sure, but it’s nothing even comparable to what’s going on in Russia.

I support the democratic human right of self determination, same for Palestine as the Donbass.

So, you disagree with what Russia is doing?

Sadly, the us is devolving into a similar state as Russia regarding “democracy” but Russia doesn’t even try to keep the façade going anymore regarding elections. The duma elections? Free and fair for sure….

One thing I can say is that at least the us puts a higher price on casualties of their armed services. Russia just using people as cannon fodder now…sending people out to their deaths by the thousands with zero regard.

Furthermore, regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine… it’s funny how Russia is starting to get desperate and have escalated their attacks on civilians in response to getting nowhere on the battlefield. Sure they have always been conducting a terror campaign via blatant war crimes but it’s pulling out all stops now. Guess they are just upset the tides are turning as they continue failing to get any objectives complete for their “special military operation” lol
