My only problem with “backed down” is that he says a lot all the time, but what he does or not does is completely different. I feel like, and this isn’t in dreadful anticipation of anything in particular or anything, but like the UN General Assembly should get together and vote on a resolution saying the nuking countries is bad and that any country, no matter who they are, that nukes another country without being existentially threatened themselves first, is a rogue nation and that if it ever happened, the entire rest of the world would do something about it.
If the UN ever enforces a resolution, it should be this one. This war has not changed my mind anout Iran having nukes, but it has become crystal clear that the US should NOT have nukes.
