Correct-- If republicans stopped stripping them of their rights and loudly demanding to see the genitals of every highschooler, there would be basically no problems. It’s called manufactured outrage, and it’s how They™ control the masses.

I live in TX. The Telerico ads are a mix of how shitty ken paxton is as a person and his policies. All the Paxton ads are Trans gender is a huge problem (bc i can’t stop masterbating to the porn).

Just saw another add where he has his daughter stumping for him against Trans people. Something I learned from it… the weird eye is hereditary

Transgender is “wrong” and “immoral” yet all these republicans are crooks, fraudster, adulterers, hidden closeted gays, and support and back the worlds largest pedophile on the planet with the nuclear codes.

But yeah, letting a man grow boobs is the problem here.

Don’t forget that Republicans like Rafael Cruz don’t have to use the name on their birth certificate, or that most Republican politicians have had gender affirming care like hair plugs and testosterone.

Men should be allowed to grow boobs if they want.

But the point of being a trans woman is that you’re not a man.

I read it charitably as someone born with a male body wanting grow boobs…

But sometimes a pithier statement, though technically less correct, does more work.

None of that matters to a kid. To them it’s just a person being a person, wearing person clothes, and doing person things.

Because when Republicans are “crooks” they are hurting the right people. So it makes it okay.

Conservatism has always been about oppression. It’s not about small government or even protecting the kids.

      It’s oppression.

Litterally why I started to pay for Youtube Premium last election cycle. “Daddy why does <Local Politician> want to kill babies?”

Started playing music over bluetoon in the car to avoid the same ads on the radio.

I think limiting screen time is great, tablet babies weird me out. But if/when the time comes where they need to be online more, consider helping them set up an adblocker on everything they use. Everyone hates ads including kids. They’d probably think you’re awesome for it.

It took lots of effort to get rid of them, but I see almost no ads anymore. Not on the internet, not YouTube on my phone or in my TV shows or when I’m listening to music. I’m practically allergic to them. Now when I catch an ad that made it past me, it gets a physical reaction from me from just how FUCKING LOUD everything is all the time. And not just volume, but audio compression, colors, camera angles, costumes, set pieces, all of it. It’s a goddamn assault. They all just want their little piece of your time.

      Obligatory Bansky quote

People are taking the piss out of you everyday. They butt into your life, take a cheap shot at you and then disappear. They leer at you from tall buildings and make you feel small. They make flippant comments from buses that imply you’re not sexy enough and that all the fun is happening somewhere else. They are on TV making your girlfriend feel inadequate. They have access to the most sophisticated technology the world has ever seen and they bully you with it. They are The Advertisers and they are laughing at you. You, however, are forbidden to touch them. Trademarks, intellectual property rights and copyright law mean advertisers can say what they like wherever they like with total impunity. Fuck that. Any advert in a public space that gives you no choice whether you see it or not is yours. It’s yours to take, re-arrange and re-use. You can do whatever you like with it. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head. You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don’t owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission, don’t even start asking for theirs.

Dude, you can get ad-free youtube just by using a browser with a decent adblocker. For free. Stop forking money over to Google.

You’ve got many more tough conversations in your future. Unless you suddenly don’t have a kid.
