It’s very frustrating. Dust, spiderwebs, you can’t just have stuff it’s constant maintenance.

And some types of plastic degrade over time, cars rust, etc.

Me with my glasses for my entire life. Why haven’t they invented dust-resistant lenses yet?

My eyebrows and eyelashes are long enough to touch the lenses of glasses; they were constantly smoodgey and greasy. It bothered me so much I got laser eye surgery lol

I still don’t understand how the sink in my bathroom gets dirty. Objectively the object in my household that is washed most often, yet regularly needs additional washing for whatever reason.

because it’s constantly wet and shit grows on the wet surface, though most of it’s just soap scum and calcification from water

Also wet lets airborne particles like dirt, dust, skin, snot flakes, a million other things - it lets those stick to the water spots that evaporate and glue those things to the surface, which also act as a breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, etc

When you’re a parent it flips over. Now you’re trying to figure out “how is that still clean”?
