For the second year in a row, the US government under President Donald Trump has denied diplomatic visas for Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials — a move condemned by the PA and outside critics as counter to international peace efforts.

Abbas, who leads both the PA and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), was to attend meetings at the United Nations in New York City next week, but the move by the US State Department means he will have to deliver remarks and participate in meetings via video link.

In a statement, the foreign ministry of the PA called the refusal of visas “an unjustified measure that runs counter to efforts to rebuild trust, develop Palestinian-US relations, and create the necessary political climate for implementing the two-state solution and achieving peace and stability.”

How the fuck is this valid? The UN HQ and surrounding land should be should be a principality allowing anyone to go there.

    Petty US government bullshit.

Nope, it wants anarchy. They want to destroy America and the Union so that they can take over and create a fascist theocracy using their mindboggling wealth and influence in order to never have to bother with elections or rule of law again.

When they talk about the “good old times” they’re talking about the 1600s.

Cuba Once Again Denies American Officials Visas to Attend Guantánamo Torture

Oh no wait. Can we all agree that the UN should not be within US borders or under US jurisdiction. If that means moving it, so be it.

But the UN as an organisation is arguably acting as intended as a purpose-built tool to impose the hegemony of the US, UK, Russia and China

What’s funny is that Abbas is a Zionist bootlicker who does whatever he’s told but even that isn’t enough humiliation for the Epstein class.

Well, naturally. Epstein was a mossad asset. Anyone who’s been to one of his parties, Israel has so much kompromat on, they’ll do whatever’s necessary to appease their masters.

Leaving does not mean it fades into obscurity. That alone is an American centric view.

The UN is already in economical struggle with multiple countries not paying the price of membership. That’s how the UN would fall into obscurity

What does the UN actually do, though? All I ever hear are resolutions and rules that no one follows.

UNICEF : provides humanitarian and developmental aid to children and mothers worldwide UNRWA : provide aids to provide direct assistance, education, health care, and social services to millions of registered Palestine refugees UNESCO : provides direct financial grants to maintain cultural heritage

There are useless part in the UN like the security council and resolutins but some entities are definitely important to maintain

There are useless part in the UN like the security council

That’s largely because the worst violators have permanent seats on the SC, and hold a veto that they frequently use.
