One of them that is hard is waving your hand in front of your face. It trips up almost every deepfake system I’ve seen. That’s a common test we’ve had to start using with interviewees because they’d try to game the system.

In the series Continuum this actually happens. Due to some trauma there is a therapist only she can see (due to her implants). Even worse, if she doesn’t come to terms with her trauma, virtual-doc is authorized to erase the parts of her memory causing issues…. Which just happens to be of her son.

So the way I heard it, was that the sensation center for genitalia and for the feet are very near each other in the brain. In some people’s case it’s a bit flipped, so the pleasure is triggered on feet and not as much on other parts.

That may be an old superstition, but that’s how I heard it. Let the internet doctors and scientists chime in!

Yeah I’d love to live there but I’ve seen enough between the xenophobia and work culture to turn me off.
