its funny how the team thinks its funny. I would say its sad that everyone outside his yes man circle is laughing at him and thinks he is a loser except of course I can’t feel bad for him. he is like every loser trope in old comedys. like frank burns and such.

    Yeah, sorry Spain.

Our doddering, demented, stupid president has no sense of tact, and I suppose we should be glad Kash Patel wasn’t in camera range either.

This reminds me of the #UnwantedIvanka memes from his first term, when they were trying to groom her to be his successor before they realized the whole fucking world hates her.

Honestly it helps him that they do that. Shove him down everyones throat like he insists upon and we’ll get rid of him faster that way.

We shouldn’t edit the truth out. This guy was there shitting it up. Let Spain get their photo with the piece of shit fascist so the entire country can see proof of what he’s like.

It’s true. If there was even one single person in his immediate orbit that gave more of a shit about him personally than about what being near him could do for themselves, he’d never have been allowed to walk all the way to Air Force One with toilet paper stuck to his shoe, much less left to wander in this screamingly loud, crowded, visually confusing huge building without someone at his side.

And that’s another thing. He’s in a position where anyone already in the area could just rush him, not to mention trip and fall hazards with confetti flying everywhere. Secret Service is there, certainly, but do you see them? I don’t. Everything about this is just odd: no one from his entire entourage is anywhere near him.

Not that I give a shit, but it’s weird that NO ONE he brought with him does either.

The last actual friend Trump had was his mentor, Roy Cohn. Cohn had been Joe McCarthy’s attack dog during the Red Scare, and went on to become one of the most hated lawyers in New York.

Epstein used Trump, but I think even Jeff would have been hard pressed to come up with something nice to say about Donnie.

Agreed. Jeff had plenty to say about Donnie – or “Donni Tee” – and after the party ended, you’re right. None of it good in his later years. On several occasions he pointed out how much worse a human being he thought Trump was compared to himself.

This Epstein email to Larry Summers (one of several along the same lines) pretty much sums it up:

recall ive told you „ i have met some very bad people „ none as bad as trump. not one decent cell in his body… so yes- dangerous

That’s Jeffrey Epstein saying that about Donald Trump.

Roy Cohn is another one, and very difficult to eclipse in terms of personal assholery, but I do think at this point the teacher is probably eclipsed by the student.

Yes, they had their falling out around that time. Thanks for the article, I had not seen that yet. But Maxwell didn’t get arrested until 2020. Epstein got arrested for the first time in 2006 and was convicted on a single charge of solicitation, for which he did a minor stint on work release jail.

But Epstein also called Trump “the dog that hasn’t barked” after he finished his that work-release prison time. This was in 2011 when Epstein was trying to rebuild his social standing, in an email chain with Maxwell, as if to suggest that of all the accusing voices now surrounding Epstein, Trump’s was strangely absent.

Some people took that to mean Trump was complicit (and he surely was) but as it was a post-conviction statement by Epstein, I always took it to mean he thought Trump was involved in getting him busted. YMMV, of course.

He’s bugging me!” and “I’m not touching you!” Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

  • Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.

  • Rule 7: We didn’t USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you’re posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
