Honestly, I think what he got lambasted for was almost innocent compared to all the other #metoo stuff.

I’m pretty sure what he did was, at the time, under the guise of a consensual sex act that the other party agreed to. Now of course there is a power imbalance and he admitted as much (His statement is here) but I found it pretty mild compared to all the wild shit happening and that happened.

I’ll admit it’s gross and he did abuse his power over those women but he owned up to it and was honest. Huge difference between jerking off with someone watching/participating and actually raping someone though and that distinction is important.

Tl;Dr - Cambodia and Thailand share a border that each side thinks isn’t drawn how it should be. They mostly coexist peacefully. A Thai soldier got killed by a landmine going down a path the Thai govt claims was not supposed to be mined and they’re alleging Cambodia mined it. Cambodia says otherwise. It escalated from there with Thailand retaliating and then Cambodia retaliating against that and so it goes.

There’s not like … A good reason for the fighting that I can discern but I’m not an expert on the two countries history.

I mean I don’t think 25 women would lie about stuff that would be slander or libel when it comes to someone as litigious and thin skinned as Trump.

Not much evidence you can provide when it’s one person’s word over another. Only thing I can say is he never won a libel suit against his accusers as far as I know.
