How many hundreds of thousands of children do you want to burn alive to punish those you think have done wrong?

You’re hoping children die because you’re angry about politics.

I think the people telling you you’re wrong ALSO don’t want America blowing up schools

            america gets to

Is that your metric for atrocities?

Politicians in a country did something bad, therefore we should burn a bunch of innocent children alive to teach them a lesson?

Is that what you think makes the world a better place? More dead children?

I suppose you think Iran is full of innocent people? You think there aren’t Iranians who fully support the oppression of women, LGBT people, and other minorities? There are people with harmful politics all over the world

You’re saying that American citizens deserve to be nuked because their politics make them not “innocent”, by that metric Iranian citizens deserve to be nuked and so do people everywhere. Why punish America for giving Iran what they “deserve” according to your reasoning?

No one in America has used nukes. They’re all dead now. Many of them of painful bone cancer.

So who are you punishing? And how far back does that punishment go?
I assume you think everyone should burn for the sins of people born on the same patch of land as them?

you sound like the kind of person who thinks “there are no slaves, so why is it still a problem in this country?”

The gov is still there. That’s the problem.

So the dead people who ran the government 100 years ago used nukes, so you want to burn their great great grandchildren alive.

How do you feel about Belgium? I assume you want them all flayed alive?

Historical inequity is distinct from retribution. We have a responsibility to help people overcome hurdles born from historical circumstances, and in general.
That doesn’t mean we’re culpable for the acts of those who came before.
                    Guilt is not heritable.

If it is, then America is pretty low on the list of countries deserving punishment. Hell, the classic European powers had occupations of countries that lasted longer than the US has existed.

Are you one of those “nobody is innocent” people? I guess it can be argued that everyone who uses animal products deserves to die and anyone who uses electronics made by slave labour and anyone who uses websites owned by billionaires
