      It gets dirty, itches, and even minor scratches can lead to debilitating disease or death. Oh, and it’s weak against the sun and fire.

        Armor can’t protect you against everything. You don’t fault a chainmail for not being able to withstand a bullet.

        The fact that you’re not dying of diseases and the sun right now is proof that the skin armor is working

      The wart on my foot has reappeared after years on the same spot I had it as a kid and I have psoriasis patches on my scalp that don’t want to shut up even with corticosteroids.

      At least the corticosteroids managed to fully tame it down to remission on my balls. Talk about itchy balls, psoriasis moves that to next level.

      And it can get itchy when handling cardboard.

        The only achievement me or my extended family feel any pride in bragging about is an uncle who got a picture of a severe psoriasis outbreak on his ass in a medical textbook. Several members of the family have a copy of that textbook on their bookshelves and these people can barely read.
