Glad to see the dislike ratio on this.
Consumerism isn’t cool anymore.
Amazon needs worldwide unionization.
Nationalization*
No.
NO?
Maybe a $50 figurine or maybe $1000 couch. Ita a gamble
A gamble between the anal cream you needed that month, and an expensive cookery set you saved for reference.
If you need it, you’ll buy it, right? It seems like consumerism has messed with your head.
It’s not a terrible idea, but it wouldn’t agree with my executive dysfunction.
My saved items / wish list is full of stuff I want and could use. When I have some extra money, it’s difficult to choose one thing, and I get stuck in limbo. So given I could set limits and hit a button, I feel like it would help me.
Throw a dice?
My luck, I’d have an extra $20 to “treat myself”, hit the button and have a Switch 2 coming my way.
I didn’t renew my prime subscription this year, for a few reasons, but that means if I want to avoid shipping fees I need to buy $35 (USD) worth of stuff. I’ve been using that to pick up small things that have been sitting in my wishlist that I haven’t been motivated to buy separately.
For example I bought a steam deck a little while ago and wanted a screen protector, since it’s a lot of screen on that bitch, so i grabbed some cute little ramen fridge magnets that I’ve had on there for ages to get me over $35.
Sure I’m spending more than I would have to avoid a fee, but i didn’t spend $150 yet (prime for the year) and I’m getting more things for it.
