I mean, did almost 50% of the voting population elect Putin twice? Cuz personally that’s where I draw the line for blaming the entire country vs just the government for the government’s actions.
Worth noting though, blaming the country doesn’t mean blaming every citizen like you’ve implied - obviously a lot of people have done everything they can and aren’t complicit in this, I just think when there’s better than even odds that a random American either didn’t vote or voted for trump that a few good apples don’t redeem the bunch.
According to their surveys Putin has enjoyed very high approval rating from Russians, almost since he came into power. Putin started with a 31% approval rating when he arrived in office in 2000, however the growing economic turn around of the 2000s rapidly pushed him to an 80%. Since then it has maintained a minimum of 60%, Trump however is at 38% most recently.
Eventually it’s going to come out that the majority did not vote for Trump. Right now they’re in charge so they’re able to define the narrative enough. Remember when he said it doesn’t matter what the popular vote is because he had all the votes he needed? This was before counting even began. Musk was also meddling with the voting systems, or more accurately people he was paying were because he’s a low grade moron. It was not legitimate.
I strongly suspect that not only did Trump actually lose, it was by a very wide margin. It will come out eventually.
Agreed. All you need to know, without even any sketchy details, is that their accusations are always admissions. Always. And they haven’t accused about anything harder than election fraud.
This would genuinely improve my faith in humanity so much if true, so I really hope you end up being right. It doesn’t change my outlook until then, but a little hope never hurt anyone lol

Now keep in mind Putin was elected 5 times. 5.
