I wish it was more socially acceptable to tell shitty people they are shitty.

But if you do that everyone tells you you are shitty.

Literally I was at dinner last night and these two women were talking to teach other about cheating on their boyfriends and how wonderful it is and how all men suck and need to be better if they don’t want to be cheated on. And if I had been like ‘you’re both piece of shit’ everyone in the restaurant would have thought I was the piece of shit, but what they do is totally cool and brave and strong.

Fucking weird ass world we live in. I feel like pretty much everything is ass backwards when it comes to socializing these days, like if you praise people for doing good shit, you’re an asshole because a person who doesn’t do good shit will feel bad and how dare you make them feel bad by complimenting someone else! You selfish prick!

I’ve had rich people tell me I’m a privileged asshole for being born poor and having to earn my money on my own, and how their life was harder because they grew up rich and their parents didn’t give them enough struggles in life…

It’s insane. I am often dumbstruck my the sheer awfulness of so many folks these days and how open they are about it. I feel like 10-20 years ago those two women would have at least had their discussion quietly and discreetly instead of so loudly I could here them from 4 tables away.

Hey, your grass is greener than mine, fuck you, gimme your grass, I don’t have the time to make my grass greener. What do you mean it’s always greener, no, look at my shitty grass and tell me that, asshole. And stay away from my grass too, you can’t have it either.

The vast majority of people don’t like you (or me). They also don’t dislike us though, and that’s key.

Most people are so emotionally distanced from you that their opinion doesn’t really matter in the scheme of things.

Unless you park like an asshole, then fuck you.
