If you’ve lived with roommates you’ve probably thought about how much better life could be if people were graded on their cohabitational skills like a pokemon card or something so you have a heads up on people you’re going to be sharing personal space with

How about you take responsibility for vetting people in your life and not passing it off to big brother…

The issue with this is coming up with a rubric without bias

Like, cleanliness is important for most everyone when it comes to roommates, but how would you grade someone who is so clean they insist on washing walls every week?

Some people have been having their parents do their homework for them most of their lives. And it shows.

I was like 30 when I realized how much nicer it was to live alone, rather than cleaning up after sone partner or other who couldn’t be bothered to do their share.

Not exactly what you are talking about but might as well be. Functionally equivalent.

Needless to say I refuse to ever cohabitate again, if I can avoid it. If I cant avoid it, it’ll have to be a duplex or individual apartment shared building sort of situation. Im just not interested in doing that much work for someone who doesn’t appreciate it. I don’t even like doing it for myself, and I do appreciate it.

With optional upgrades (at extra expense) if you need something different, like an office, out don’t room that needs to be bigger than standard, etc.

I ain’t cleaning >:( Ain’t dirtyin’ either >:( If nobody lives with me, my place is locked in limbo of never changing state >:(

But other people tend to make shit around them and expect other party to help with cleaning and here I fail so I’d be rated shit >:(

Roommate finding platforms already have user profiles and allow other people to rate them. Browsing profiles and reviews in Facebook groups is the best argument against this.

Introduce way way to much racism and ability as well as sexism.

You know they could solve that problem pretty easily though, just use openness and honestty and above all else learn how communicate with each other. It does wonders when people learn how to communicate there needs to others and the there able and willing to listen without judgement.
