What better way to prevent war then ensureing your primary enemy is fiscally , demographically and politically unable to fight?

      Let alone militarily

The “primary” enemy is not the only enemy. And for each European country it might be different. It’s still important to have a strong army and unity. If we are weak or divided, even if russia is on its knees, you can’t be sure that another dictator won’t try to take a part of Europe, like Greenland for example… I heard dictators like islands.

First Russia must be brought down, and the USA must urgently be freed from fascism. I honestly wouldn’t mind the balkanisation of Russia, at least to the extent that Russia can only stand up to China, but not to Europe. Russia must be given a ‘way out’ of the war, but this way must be its defeat.

It is vital that Europe does not antagonise the US, and Russia, and China, all at the same time, yet takes a firm stance backed by force. I hate it, but I think China is the most reliable we have for now, together with the antifascist bulwarks in the US. We must support those and foster them, while crushing that hateful imperialism around us.

That means fostering democracy, reinvigorating its flame into the US and Russia. Though, this time it must be a people’s democracy, not one of oligarchs and bourgeoise, but one for all; a true democracy.

Otherwise, the longer the Rust Belt, rural farmers, and urban citizens, all part of the wider proletariat, are exploited by the elite for their own gain, the harder the elite will face its own downfall. And while I do not find a Jacobinite treatment of the elite to be an issue, I think it is problematic if these people, who long have been played by their landlords, oil and gas industries, instead funnel their frustration towards us - who should be their allies against bringing the elite down. These MAGA hats must be made to understand that it in fact, is the elite and their hatred who have fooled them all along in supporting the downfall of the US.

Only through antifascism, socialism, and communism, can the US prosper. Universal healthcare is cheaper for all Americans. Universal education is a must for all Americans. Universal housing is not just an achievement, but an obligation to all. Freedom is liberation from capitalism.

Practically are a big waste of money for all. Diplomacy would be much cheaper and in the right direction. People have nothing learned from WW2 I guess.

One big if though: the people in charge will have to ignore big bullies and their lobbyists.

A little off point but stop holding up a bunch of slave army owners as the pinnacle of warriorhood.

No reason to name this sparta 2.0 at all. They are not something to aim for.

Never had any doubts about it. As others mentioned, the problem is political and if elected representatives have the guts to advance. Generally they are the weakest link.

Seems there’s no more room for the type of European who declined to join the Coalition of the Willing and rightly mocked usians for falling for Global War on Terror propaganda. What a farce.
