U.S. Bombs Iranian Coastal City, Reports Fox’s Griffin

Jennifer Griffin reported on Thursday that the U.S. attacked an Iranian port city with airstrikes, which were initially believed to be carried out by the United Arab Emirates.

Griffin added more details to her initial post, writing, “A senior US official tells me that it was a US military strike on Iran’s Qeshm port and Bandar Abbas moments ago but added this is NOT a restarting of the war or end to the ceasefire.”

    Jennifer Griffin phrased this really poorly. (Fox News isn’t really known for intelligence…) Three ships were fired on, and they returned fire with retaliatory strikes, per USCENTCOM. https://www.centcom.mil/MEDIA/PRESS-RELEASES/Press-Release-View/Article/4480437/centcom-protects-us-warships-transiting-strait-of-hormuz/

    So, the war isn’t back on, but it’s not off either. For a cease fire, there’s been a lot of firing going on. The US never should have kicked this hornet’s nest.

      I’m seeing different things. Now seeing it being called a surprise attack by the USA which Iran retaliated to.

      The order of events is probably going to be disputed for a bit. Most interesting part is that there are some reports that significant damage was done to US military ships.

      If sailors are dead, Trump will go nuclear. Not literal nuclear. But still…think he will just yell until they agree to let him go full on invasion.
