The project is based in Belgian, it would be the first European browser engine.

    Interesting, didn’t know about Servo. Is it used by any browser or other program?

      Yes it can be used by Tauri so there could be a few Tauri apps using it because of their highly specific needs

      Their demo app is surprisingly good at rendering and processing all those monstrosities that webdevs create instead of websites. It still lacks polish, more complicated APIs, the browser tooling around the engine and so on, but I was still impressed when I tried it.

    Haven’t heard about Servo for years. Wasn’t it a Mozilla project that got abandoned? I might be wrong.

    A choice in browsers is good. We need to stop CF blocking browsers which are not based on chromium while we’re at it.
