Not to mention, both Germany’s and Japan’s lands weren’t taken and inhabitated and the U.S./U.K. did assist in finding a path that they could rebuild. Japan isn’t a majority Americans, nor is Germany majority English/French/Etc.

Edit 2: so for the U.S. a better example would be what we/they did to the Native Americans, For the U.K. that’s hard to say… maybe Britains treatment of Ireland. But… As history has proven, Ireland survived and has their land and population still.

I mean Brasil will still get orders from the U.S., but it just tells the country to not depend on trade with the U.S. in the future because U.S. companies may not be able to afford to buy your products.

Edit: you guys know this is the entire point of Tarrifs right? To make it so your companies find other countries products are to expensive… So you find a way to make them cheaper in country. Just in this case they won’t find them cheaper… So it will manipulate the amount sold from Brasil… and hurt their economy unless they make trade deals elsewhere to sell any potential losses
