I mean Brasil will still get orders from the U.S., but it just tells the country to not depend on trade with the U.S. in the future because U.S. companies may not be able to afford to buy your products.
Edit: you guys know this is the entire point of Tarrifs right? To make it so your companies find other countries products are to expensive… So you find a way to make them cheaper in country. Just in this case they won’t find them cheaper… So it will manipulate the amount sold from Brasil… and hurt their economy unless they make trade deals elsewhere to sell any potential losses
