Similar to the Yahoo email I created when I was 14. Somehow C0d_G0dx69_420@yahoo (Made up but similar) isn’t quite the professional impression I want to make now a days.
Instead I now use C0d_G0dx69_420@proton.me
(much more professional)
On Lemmy I feel like we do the same except for instances. Some person signs up with an instance oblivious to its politics but will get judged based on it.
Except people accidentally join dumb instances. Nobody accidentally sets their pfp as a preteen anime girl. That shit is a choice.
