    The number of unaccompanied minors removed from the U.S. has more than tripled compared to President Trump’s first term, according to ProPublica. Children who have parents or sponsors in the U.S. have been separated from them and denied due process within Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) byzantine system of detention centers and jails, the lawsuit argues.

    When are Americans going to wake the fuck up, or are we just going to look back on y’all as Weimar Germans in the 1930s when all is said and done? America used to be amazing…now it’s just sad.

    Stop making excuses…start doing something. What kind of world do you want your kids to grow up in, or do you just not care?

    Should America’s new slogan be “I got mine! Fuck all y’all”.

          No one is clowning. And hi, it’s me. I’m people. I’m in the US. There are many reasons why we can’t fix this current situation. But we also refuse to fix anything. That was the question I was answering. Hence, the school shootings. Just because we cannot react like other countries in the face of a fascist government doesn’t mean we deserve to be let off the hook for constant inactions. There was just another school shooting in a smaller town near me. I visit there often. I have friends there. We as a society have failed kids on almost every front imaginable.

            Why don’t you stop bitching about inaction and start organizing? Right now. Share with the class step by step what everyone should do and who they should reach out to. Because making all the lurkers here feel bad about not knowing what to do is certainly not helping. It just makes you feel better about yourself despite you likely also not doing anything either. Feeding your own egos does not stop the rise in fascism around the world.
