Israeli settlers on Saturday attacked a convoy carrying a European delegation in the occupied West Bank, beating up a 78-year-old French mayor. While Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – who is just days from a crucial election – described the incident as a “smear” campaign against Israeli settlers, France’s top diplomat urged Israel to “urgently halt criminal violence”.

They are way past having any legitimacy at all. Israel must be ended and the “Israelis” resettled in other countries. Anything less is condoning murder. They have chosen to act criminally for 80 years, they have no right to say what goes on anymore.

Eisenkot is a somewhat smart Zionist (not a properly smart Zionist, however; those died with Yitzhak Rabin) who knows Israel can’t afford to keep beating up European diplomats while Netanyahu is a dumb Zionist high on his own supply.
