There are roughly two big kinds of Fascism in this:
That anchored on Nationalism, such as what Mussolini practiced.
That anchored on Racial Supremacism, such as what Hitler practiced.
Zionism is the second kind.
Historically Fascism anchored on racial superiority is far more violent and far more callously so - the kind that sees no problem in targeting and murdering small children who are deemed to be part of a “vermin” ethnicity (which is exactly what Israel has been caught doing in Gaza with snipers).
Historically Mussolini, Franco, Salazar and so on in Europe (and, right now, Putin) did not claim to represent an ethnicity and where never anywhere as hateful and callously murderous towards human beings not of said ethnicity as the Zionists and the Nazis, rather they practiced violence to expand their power and holdings, wanting to force those living in conquered lands to become their subjects rather than expelling or exterminating them for being of the “wrong” ethnicity.
Racism is hard-baked into fascism.
It doesn’t have to be based on race, fascism relies on hate though.
