Hegemony isn’t forced, it’s earned. It comes about via soft power, which is something the current administration doesn’t understand at all. Hence why the US has lost standing, respect and ultimately potential earnings over the last 10 years. They act like colonisers, with a power structure based on fear but that only works if you’re actually.good at war and have the tactical agility to change how you infiltrate an enemy, real or imagined to perpetuate the “fear culture” that the US mindset thrives on.
