The headline is misleading. He’s not getting arrested for selling pork, but for selling pork that he mislabeled as beef.
Edit: I also suspect most Lemmings don’t care much about Muslim theology, but if you’re wondering why you’ve never heard of Najaf (as opposed to Mecca or Medina, which you probably have heard of), it’s because it’s a Shia thing and Shias have less internet and media presence. I can’t claim to know precisely why that’s the case, but it can’t help that there are both less of them and that close to half of them are Iranian.

The very beginning of the article contradicts the headline:

Like surely, it has to be malice? I never had pork that i would mistake for beef…
None if his customers had ever.knowingly eaten pork. Theynhad no chance of recognising the taste taste as specifically that of pork. And different parts of an animal taste different anyway.
Furthermore, what he was sells was mincemeat. In foods where you use mincemeat there are plenty of spices and such that mask the meat’s taste.
