I’ve been the safe adult on southwest a few more times than I’d like. Usually the times I don’t want to, I’m sick as hell [I postpone travel if I have something communicable but the chronic suspects don’t get to slow me down] and don’t want to talk to anyone but my wife and my beasties. I can mask discomfort if it means a kid travels safe and happy.
