    A two-state solution is separating Israel from Palestine. What dudeface is suggesting is that Israel simply stop murdering, oppressing, and otherwise being mean to the Palestinian people, and just be a nation that cares for all citizens within its borders. That is not a two-state solution because there would still only be one state - one that recognizes Palestinians as equal to any other people.

      Thats problematic for two reasons:

      1. Israel decides who is and is not a citizen

      2. Israel considers itself an ethnostate which has so far never tolerated Muslims both within and around their borders.

      3. Let the user speak for themselves

        It’s not problematic for me, I don’t care about them maintaining an ethnostate or considering themselves chosen

        Yes, we know it’s not likely to happen, but that would be the preferred outcome.
