With oil and diesel at record highs, and markets anticipating a rate hike… the only rational options are a hike, or the same BS hold while pretending to be serious about inflation.
Ceasing trade with all allies is one way to stop datacenters, though. But it’s also the last thread that keeps the US relevant to rest of world, and cause of putting up with Trump/US.

But I don’t think the majority of Americans are media savvy enough to discern real from fake news let alone realize that the fact that there is essentially no independent media with mass credibility left in this country is essentially the reason he will continue to get away with this bullshit.
Without a coherent message and the ability to spread it the media that does exist is able and perfectly content to continue promoting infighting to distract the less critical masses from the fact that the gun is infact pointed at them.
