      Sort of. This is a new set of charges, it’s unclear from the article how much overlap it shares with the previous case.

      The Tate brothers have been under criminal investigation in Romania on charges including human trafficking since December 2022. They were arrested in late 2022 and later indicted on charges they participated in a criminal ring that lured women to Romania, where they were sexually exploited, but a court later ruled that case could not go to trial because of multiple legal and procedural irregularities on the prosecutors’ part.

      Kind of? They were indicted in Romania a while back, but those charges were quickly dropped because the investigators fumbled some key evidence. This is a new set of charges, supposedly with new evidence that isn’t mired in procedural issues. They are already trying to fight their extradition to the UK for rape charges, so this is another set of charges to add to the list.

        They were also safe hiding out until they were dumb enough (thankfully) to travel to the US to see the white house backyard whitetrash fight where they were arressted. The reason they havent been moved yet isnt because we arent sending them, but because the UK has to file something to start the transfer process which I heard they have until sept 16th to do so.
