I agreed with you up until more expensive games, shittier graphics and performance. For the price of the console when it released it was a solid choice and was hard to buy a PC at the same price point that offered better performance. 6 years later and this holds true even more now than it did before. Steam box is apparently around the same performance with some things better and some things worse but at over $500 more for the one. Ps5 really holds its value for the price for what you get. I do wonder if that will hold true for the ps6 though (not holding my breath).

This sounds like me honestly. Although i do get past the menu and load screens haha. Sometimes i want to play something and just end up not forcing myself to so i just sit there instead. I am also fine with playing with my friends anytime, but we have been stuck playing the same game for 6 years now… just fall guys every night or every other night haha. Its mindless fun and not competitive and easy to talk about whatever during it. We want to pick up a new game but theres pretty much nothing else like it and we all cant agree on anything else. We dont want a game that needs commitment, just something we can jump into for an hour and laugh.

The only thing this applies to me for is my psn account. Not that i do it often, but if i do sign on to play something during the day and work hours i sign on as offline just in case. At night ill play with a few friends and rarely when ppl say ok last game then leave ill go offline because i wasnt ready to go to bed and dont want them to know lol. Especially since i have 1 friend who does stay up after and would probably continue playing something with me but all i wanna do is play my 1 player game till i pass out.

Depends were you are. Mine allows wifi calling and airplane mode keeps wifi enabled so calls would still reach me. I actually prefer airplane mode at home since my service is so bad and it seems no matter what iphone prefers cell service over wifi unless absolutely necesarry so i leave it in airplane mode at home to ensure call quality is good.

I may get 4 to 5 weeks off for the year, but it is absolutely taboo to try and take 2 of those at the same time. The amount of guilt you get even requesting it is all you need to know about our current state. The only exceptions i have had fot this was when i got married and had each kid. Besides that i have not had more than 1 week off at one time since i was 15 and im in my 40s now.

I got 1 friend like this right now and the same birthday! Funny enough the day is the only reason why i remember it. In 2006 his birthday was 06/06/06 which was amazing. Sadly we don’t really talk much these days, but I do still remember to send him the birthday text and as someone else pointed out I do not get the same respect from them on mine.

I haven’t had new clothes in years. This shit don’t matter on old clothes, it all goes in the same wash for me. I will even throw 2 cap fulls of bleach into its compartment every now and then and nothing happens. It’s to diluted once it mixes with the water to mess it up and you still get that nice clean bleach smell after.

They do it all day everyday. That would be bad over the years. Plus any unnecessary exposure to any additional radiation should just be avoided. If the patient had any other way of getting the same results im sure that would be the preferred method but its all we got and 1 dose is really nothing in the scheme of things.

I do remember a story long ago in the early days where someone got a faulty one and everytime they turned it on for xrays these people were hit with so much radiation they could taste it. Nobody believed them and it was so bad that side effects came quick enough to figure out this machine was faulty. If i find it ill link it here. Very interesting and awful situation.

Edit: found it the Therac-25 system. It sometimes became faulty and dosed people with 250 times the amount it should have. They swore up and down there is no way the system was faulty until it was finally proven to be it.

My wife’s parents died 7 years ago and we still get stuff for them, at our house no less! I have no idea how that happened, but I do wish it stopped. The latest is i am getting a txt message every few weeks for the past few months on my work cell for my wifes mothers apparent debt of an unpaid gas bill. The levels to understand how any of that makes sense is beyond me. It can’t be mine, we only have an electric house and is another company. Why 7 years later? Whos using her name? Why is my cell phone number somehow the phone linked to this? Im to afraid to click the link just in case it is fake, but the more txts i get the more real it feels since ive never had consistent txts from the same number over and over like this.

It’s because it keeps track of either all previous passwords or like a certain amount back. So you definitely used that one at some point, it just wasnt the one you used now.

I always just assumed it was to quickly identify which way is front Yes theres a stamp to represent the back, but a bow is even quicker to identify. I also figured it was decorative as well.

My friend in highschool dated a girl with the last name Gaydick. The jokes were endless and she took them like a champ. We didnt really see her much after that ended, but i saw she got married years later and all I thought was she must be absolutely thrilled to finally rid herself of the lifelong jokes she must have gone through up till that point.

As open as i am with sexuality and how this sounds awesome on paper, I don’t even think I could bring myself to stopping by one of these just out of anxiety. It’s just not the mindset i want to be in when getting something as simple as a coffee lol.
