Damn right! I’m in construction, and I don’t own a home, but I have owned multiple toilets over the years - mostly because I can’t bring myself to throw away a perfectly good fixture just because the client wants a different style/color installed. The place I currently rent has fancy toilets in both bathrooms thanks to me.
I totally gave away a toilet in a circumstance like that. When I got someone to install my new toilet they asked if they could take the new one to a reno they were working on that didn’t have a functioning toilet. Honestly was a win win situation.
