It’s crazy anyone would willingly use Chrome and browse the internet without any protection. You’d be surprised though, as many of my friends don’t even have an adblocker.
In a way I guess it’s good for people like us who just block them, as the ad watchers are essentially subsidizing services like YouTube who would otherwise crackdown harder on ad blockers.
Some people pay for youtube premium+ (or whatever it’s called) and try to be oh so smug about the quality of service they get. YT with no ads. If you pay for it. I’d rather just not use youtube.
I haven’t yet met anyone who’re so smug about paying yt premium, as vanced offer much much more. I paid it, have no complain, but i wouldn’t be smug about it, that’s just silly.
They’re the same people who go “I’m fine with the raising prices. It’s a valuable service to me and I make lots of money, so I’m fine with bending over for their shareholders.”
It’s capitalism signaling for people with more money than values and ABSOLUTELY no sense of pattern recognition or consequences.
