Five longtime participants – Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland and Slovenia – boycotted this year’s competition in Vienna after organisers declined to exclude Israel over its conduct in the war against Hamas in Gaza and violence against Palestinians in the West Bank
WTAF guardian, how far does the genocide go before you stop both sidesing it?
I think even framing it as a war against Hamas is disingenuous, Hamas have all but surrendered they haven’t launched launched anything at Israel since October (when Israel agreed to a ceasefire that they have violated regularly).
Would any other genocide get such a friendly write-up, is Russia’s war against the Ukrainian government?
Calling it a war now is disingenuous. The war ended. Israel did not hold up their end of the bargain. They continue to unilaterally slaughter Palestinians, regardless of their affiliation

Did you not quote all of it?
Because they said two things Israel is doing, that’s not how “both sideaing” works

Israel and specifically Netenyahu funding Hamas for decades doesn’t make it any less complicated…
Did you just ask if people were calling what you’re calling a war…
A war?
Like, I think you answered you’re own question there
Russia is at war with Ukraine, they are killing plenty of regular people not in the government.
Israel is commiting genocide against the people of Gaza it isn’t at “war with Hamas”
As Bill Hicks said: it’s not a war. A war is when two armies are fighting.
