When I describe my 10 year old life to other folks they tell me I was an abused child.
Mostly because I spent a lot of time out in the woods with my friends and playing video games, and apparently that’s ‘abuse/neglect’ by today’s standards for children. I was supposed to be doped up on meds and have every moment of my childhood filled with ‘productive activities’. Probably why I am not depressed and anxious like many of my peers.
Apparently letting your children have unsupervised unstructured time is child abuse now.

Right, but this is a generation that thought the EPA is a terrorist organization. Fresh air is fucking evil.
In 1980s the EPA blew up a firehouse that resulted in noxious gasses being released into a major city.
