Here’s an idea, let’s not have a list of “recognized” religions at all.

And while we are at it, Mormons and Christians and all of the rest should pay taxes, they’re disgusting vampires.

There is a valid purpose. Sikhs have special requirements for grooming. Jews, Muslims, Catholics, Buddhists, and Hindus have dietary requirements. Quakers are pacifists. In general having a list of religions you’re prepared to accommodate is valuable for a military

It’s important for drafts where pacifists often get sent to working in military hospitals or other lifesaving nonviolent roles. “You ain’t allowed to kill? Cool you’re gonna do nothing but save the lives of folks who can.”

Here’s an idea, let’s not have a list of “recognized” religions at all.

If we don’t have a list of legally recognized religions, we won’t be able to rationalize pogroms against the illegal ones.

Don’t you want to purge the county of Muslims? Don’t you want to send all the Jews to Israel? Don’t you want all those Communist Atheists rounded up? I hear a bunch of them work for the CCP.
