Israel is the good guy here, they’re prolonging the war so we can keep trading the TACOs on the stock market like all the other big players. The longer it goes on, the better your precog abilities get, the more money you can earn.
Israel already said they weren’t recognizing the deal and they weren’t leaving Lebanon, so the real question is what is Trump willing to do to about Israel to make that ceasefire stick? Historically not a lot, but that relationship does seem to be chafing a lot recently.

LebanonHezbollah until Hezbollah retaliated and immediately Israel cried the terrorists are attacking! They broke the ceasefire! We are victims in all this. I believed that’s when israel tried to put boots on the ground and the squad or whatever got fucked up. This shits been going for so long it all blurs together. Sorry if I got the events wrong.

Doesn’t really encapsulate what is happening. Every war the US has been a part of since WWII has objectively made every single US politician and military member a mass murderer and war criminal. Every single one. Only a few were ever a genocidier or could claim ethnic cleansing.
It’s important to have that difference, especially when communicating outside of anti-imperialist bubbles, i.e. if you need to gain support for actual change amongst a populace who see members of the US military as ‘heroes’ or some other similar nonsense.
Makes sense I guess, not a USian myself, thankfully, and have less need of doublespeak. Personally I just think of them all as subcategories of ‘mass murderer’, including ‘legal’ wars and especially those who instigate them, although I concede the waters can be murky there.
