I bought my phone outright because I don’t want to give it back, I’d rather it just be my phone and when I’m done with it, it will live in the box with it’s brethren of the past 20 years.
For a while my phone/internet was a bit cheaper… Then T-Mobile decided autopay on a credit card no longer qualifies as autopay (for a discount) despite texting me each month to say my autopay went through.
Verizon and AT&T are some of the worst services for deals, but they are the most popular here so most people don’t bother looking for anything else. I got my parents on google fi and they got 2 new phones for free (i think pixel 8) and costs them $50 per month for the 2, not unlimited but they dont use much since they use home wifi for 90% of the use and if they do go over the limit its just $10 more that month.
Damn that’s crazy, mine is ~30eur for phone lease (Pixel 8 pro) and unlimited plan 😬
*cries in Canadian
What provider do you use? I’m with Freedom, pay $45 a month and have over 130GB

I’ve had fi since the beginning and I think I pay $45 for 3 lines unlimited. Sadly if I ever leave I’ll never get that deal again.
