At home it would be more accurate to say you sent a poop. You didn’t take a poop. Where are you taking it? And why?
But that’s not actually true if you fly on an airline. Because you DO take your poop to your destination. Same thing on things like cruise ships. Oh, I guess also RVs and those buses that have bathrooms. Oh, and trains.

Both describe in some capacity making the shower yours.
