    Technicality, though. Similar mechanisms.
    (which doesn’t have to be a bad thing, mind you. I am all in for a stronger common European identity, including some nationalism unionalism)

      Or maybe it’s just simply a reaction to being under threat from both sides and trying to protect the good parts of the European union that Russia and the US apparently wishes to destroy and invade.

      I sure don’t feel super inclined to buy from America when they have openly threatened to kidnap a country within my kingdom. If that makes me a nationalist then the word carries no meaning.
