I don’t think the US should exist either. If a settler colonial state exists it should be put down like the diseased rabid dog it is. That includes Israel, America, and Canada. The only acceptable terms for settlers is relinquishing control to the original inhabitants of the land.

USians on Reddit kept blabbering for four years how “all decent Russians left Russia, only supporters of Putin and the war are still there”. So it must be pretty easy, just need to get on the plane and fly away.

Punishing a whole country for the actions of a few elites is a bit steep. If you think the average American wants half of what’s going on, you’ve fallen victim to propaganda. Do better. By your logic we should have commit genocide after WW2 to make sure the Nazis were even stevens with the Jews. That eye for an eye thinking will make the whole world blind.

Look, if a nation sends aid to another in a time of need then it should get help when it is in need. If a nation sends bombs it is only fair that it gets bombed. The usa is not some magical outsider immune to the consequences of their own actions.

And to bring up the Jews with what is currently going on is kinda finny. israel exists due partly to the genocide in WWII and apparently you think that Germany was not bombed the everliving fuck out of. Do you know of the Dresden bombings, it was also a genocide.

Punishing a whole nation for what their leaders have that nation do is very much the standard, if that nation does not want that then there is always resistance or revolution.

If half of the Americans actually voted against this crap it wouldn’t happen. They didn’t and so they’re at fault.

Well it’s way less than half that voted against trump. The percentage of eligible voters that actually vote in the U.S. is pathetic.

But yes, sucks for those that voted against it. But their (much lesser) culpability is not not striking, protesting, campaigning, etc. If they’re doing all that, then I’m sure they’re just as pissed off at the rest of Americans so they wouldn’t mind my generalization.

The percentage of eligible voters that actually vote in the U.S. is pathetic.

65.3% of voters voted in 2024. Thats higher than the UK or Ireland, and its not even a national holiday to do it. Its close to par with Canada.

So I call BS on your post.

And it’s pathetic in those places too. But when it’s a choice of trump or a less insane option, that 35% of Americans who didn’t bother to vote is a whole lot of idiots who are part of the problem.

Many of us are doing those things, but that is beside my point. I am more referring to the notion that civilians deserve the hell of warfare, particularly when policies they personally voted for are what led there.

I believe this sort of “give them what they deserve” thinking is what allows our leaders to even wage war at all, and without it, there would be little to no public appetite for warfare.

I find it helps me to remember that even the most violent and rabid constituencies are voting based on a concerted multi-billion dollar constant misinformation campaign, and holding them responsible for their position in that scenario is blaming the victim. The people that are callous to the other side and cheer on bloodshed were programmed daily for many years to behave in that manner. Rather than kill them or wish for their death, we can work to dismantle the apparatus that took our friends, neighbors, and family members from us and turned them into those ghouls. I believe most will return to sanity on their own if the spigot of falsehoods stops.

I don’t want any bloodshed. But we’ve got bloodshed. Lots of it. And it’s being perpetrated by the U.S. on behalf of its citizens. I suspect there would be more internal resistance to trumps horrific policies if they resulted in some bombs hitting mainland U.S. just the rise in gas prices might be tipping the balance, but probably not. I’m sorry that it hurts your feelings, but even participating in the U.S. economy is supporting it, and therefore supporting the murdering by its leaders. I do hope you can figure out how to dismantle the current insane government and its supporters. But you can’t expect other countries to sit by while you bomb them and just hope you can figure it out eventually .

“Don’t blame me I voted for kodos.” You can stick your head in the sand if you like but it does not change the facts. Did any civilian getting bombed have a different situation? Why are you so special that you think your nation gets to bomb but not be bombed back?
