Reminder their constitution doesn’t allow elections during war, for good reason - how tf are you supposed to vote when you’re being bombed?

I assume he’s not committing to it either way until CUSMA is renegotiated. It’s probably a bargaining chip. On principal I do agree that we should scrap the entire F-35 contract in favour of Gripens though.

For people saying there’s no alternative… Nothing is the alternative. Just get rid of it. Call or text your family once a week to keep in touch. Talk to your neighbours in person.

I sort of resent this idea that everyone edges towards being a pedo when they become rich/powerful enough. I think it’s the other way around, that only extreme sociopaths are capable of becoming this rich/powerful and you have to be some kind of sociopath to be a pedo.

Steel and aluminum remain at 50%, and the EU has to invest in the US and buy military equipment from them. Sounds like a terrible deal and I hope we (Canada) don’t make a similar one.

Despite the obvious hypocrisy with Taiwan and Hong Kong, he does benefit from supporting Ukraine since it ensures further destabilization of Russia.
