All companies have to follow legally binding orders. What matters is what they have available to share.

I wouldn’t say you have to condescend to them but realise most of these people have been brainwashed into a cult. Like other cults I won’t call them blameless of their actions but they are also victims of the cult leaders. Cult leaders use deceptive psychological techniques to influence people.
