They should go.
But they don’t get to take the land with them. They get bus tickets and they hand in their passports.

Yep. This is known.

chat the entered japanese
I felt it was imminent. My bro married a beautiful girl from japan, and she’s so patient; but, even being marginally fluent in Thai and Mandarin as well as his French and English experience - thus, super plastic for languages - Japanese is still so hard. It seems to be THE poster-child for inscrutably challenging second-languages!
(Hmm. He needs to watch more anime maybe?)

we should agree on a universal sign language
Have I got an xkcd for you!

Like peppercorns before I put them in the pepper mill?

it’s widely accepted that the word “literally” can be used to add emphasis
You found the root cause.
The solution is vicious heckling of idiots who misuse it - treat them like a middle-school drop-out - until they fix their behavior. Do the same for people who pluralize mass nouns as well: trainings, supports (not used like struts), emails.

And they are missing Jaime Pressly
She’s breathtaking. I miss her too. I think I miss her when I glance away.
Everytime
Still not a word.

Say no more, say no more.

I would absolutely hate to be stationed at one of the remaining ones. That “enlist now and get a college education after” deal seemed way better 2 years ago.

That’s a bad fate to consign non-combatants to, but it is accidentally what’s happening.
If we can’t prevent the suffering of civilians, I’d be a little relieved if their situation also pushes us to a far better future.

but when we needed them, they were not there.
This lie is the most insulting.
NATO came out in support of its members every time they asked.
There was but exactly one case, 25 years ago, though.
It was America asking. We assisted.
I have combat boots - one owner - older than that.
Essentially, you’re down-voting.
Excellent play.
I lock my door with a fob in this building, but it auto-locks half the time anyway. I can’t operate the elevator to the parking garage or the roof without that fob: I can go to the lobby, but that’s it. If I’m locked out, all failure modes point to a fire escape stairway and a crashbar to the outside.
I’m FAR more at risk of locking myself out than leave anything unlocked, and I can phone my wife to code-6 the front door like I’m a sexy pizza delivery.
