1·5 months agoMan, there were so many better names for that team. As I understand it, the Knights name came from the parent holding company that owned the team originally. Uninspired. Tacky.
And while, yes, the “V” silhouette is “clever,” the logo is of a hoplite helmet?
Personally, I thought Vegas should have leaned into the weirdness and gone with the area-51-adjacent “Greys”. Though, I believe sport team themes in general should be strange, whimsical, or fun. Everyone’s trying to be so tough.
