Only people that didn’t live the old days think those were the “good” ones.

Not as money but silver has other uses.

The EU representative should say that to the USA and Israel to have a moral ground.

And those are the ones that they know. But nobody knows how many are under the rubble.

Then maybe “your god” is not so powerful.

That should be the last step in any peace treaty. Once everything else is agreed then and only then give up the guns.

O maybe China won’t even need to invade. If Taiwan ends up building factories in the US they can say goodbye to a lot of money and a lot of “defense” from the US. If China waits a little they can take Taiwan without a shot.

If I were Xi I’d wait a little longer, let’s say some months, to see if the US starts a civil war. Then, without the US to back Taiwan, start talking with Taiwan to unify both parts of China with an agreement. No war, no deaths, no spending military equipment.
