Every system depends on powerful people respecting its authority and the credible threat of the masses taking things into their own hands.
What we see now is the failure of the respect clause. It’s just a matter of when the credible threat clause kicks in.
Oh good, podcasts and web browsing (to here, mainly).

Cancer isn’t one thing.

This is really cool, but describing it as ‘going viral’ doesn’t make any sense.

What? Israelis just need some “living space”.

Glad you came back to read this.
I struggle with this too, and I’m old. It is a difficult habit to break out of. I urge you to put a lot of effort into this, make “doing the things” your habit.
But most especially, forgive yourself if you don’t do the thing. The best time to have done the thing is “already”, and the second best time is “right now”, and if you do the thing at the second best time right now, when you’re done it will become the best.
Or, if you’re having a hard time doing the thing, just do a small part of the thing. A sub-thing, as it were. “It’s a little bit better than it was before.”

Sure, but online services can certainly leverage multiple modules, from multiple companies, hosted in multiple places. So maybe your site mostly works fine, but a key aspect of it is broken.

You’d be hard pressed to find an online service that isn’t associated with AWS in some way.

We should cut Jeff Bezos in half just to make sure.

Ah, just like the good old days.

Do the things. Do them. Don’t leave them until later. There are always things. If you don’t do the now things, thinking you can do them later, there will be other things later.
Not doing the things only puts you behind, possibly forever.
Do the things.

Mostly new, some prototypes even. But I also know that the build quality and safety of Chinese automobiles has increased dramatically in the last decade-ish.

I did notice that the one posted today is not one of my favorites. The ones I’m used to seeing are hosted by Eric, and are really just car reviews like you’d see anywhere … just for Chinese cars in China.
