I usually use Pluto for running the TV all night for my dog, so I don’t know if Jellyfin will solve that problem, and there’s a good chance if your files aren’t named well, you’ll have a lot of cleanup to do, it’s worse with music than TV, but also easier to fix with music using MetaBrainz Picard. Basically prepare for some work initially, but it’s worth it to get out of Plex’s ecosystem as they enshittify.

I used it to supplement my Plex server back when that was an option. Not sure whether it was them or Plex, but once that went away, I dropped it. Have dropped Plex too now for Jellyfin, takes a little more effort for me, but it’s better to deal with
