The cup is about 70% filled with ice before the drink goes in. I work in hospice and drive around to patients homes all day. I’ll occasionally hit McDonald’s in the morning as I start my day (bacon, egg and cheese bagel with a large coke zero sugar.) Unless my car is getting hot in the middle of summer, that drink will last about 4 hours with some ice left over. If it’s hot enough out to melt faster, well, I’m probably drinking it faster anyway because it’s hot out.
Not at all. The ice isn’t melting THAT fast. By the time I get towards the end it’s just a matter of how much has melted and how thirsty I am lol. If it doesn’t taste good, I stop drinking.
But you still have to finish it within 30-40 minutes or so. Or do people actually drink it flat and lukewarm for the rest of the day?

But isn’t it more water than cola at that point? I’d rather chug back 300ml then drink water the rest of the day, than drink watery cola for 4 hours.
