Isn’t there an agreement between the UN and US requiring it to let people the UN wishes to be at their New York offices into the US?

I know Trump and friends don’t like rules, but surely they’d like to keep the UN a thing based out of the US.

If they visited the U.S., they’d only be harassed by ICE anyway. Plus, there is no reason to try and negotiate with the current government. Denying them visas is nothing but a pointless “insult”.

It’s not a matter of moving. Just getting inside to talk face to face at all for negotiations, for pleading for help.

      Traitors how?

Also, that would mean everyone who stormed the capital shouldn’t be allowed here (agreed), but that isn’t happening…

Literally anyone born in another country is ipso facto an enemy of the Glorious American Empire.

Your very existence is an affront to the sensibilities of our nation’s leadership.

Lemmy leans left / anti-imperialist, and the left generally considers the Palestinian Authority traitors or collaborationists, somewhat analogous to Irish Freestaters

Not so much that they want Israeli settlers to murder them. The PA his historically operated as a kind-of Vichy Republic to the Israeli fascist regime. But the outright genocide that the IDF is facilitating goes well beyond what any PA official has ever condoned, much less participated in. This is the difference between a police state and a gas chamber.

Nobody on “The Left” is advocating that mid-level Palestinian bureaucrats be starved to death under siege or tortured to death by tweaked out Settlers.

So being praised for not supporting Hamas after they attacked Israel and started a war makes you a traitor to Gaza?

Fuck Hamas. They don’t get to call themselves Gaza or Palestine. They are the same kind of filth that’s responsible for the genocide in Gaza. All these genocidal maniacs can please fuck off and leave normal peaceful people the fuck alone.

In there a clause in there that justified purposely targeting and murdering women and children and random people at a music festival?

If not then it has no relevance to anything I’m talking about.

So not at all “after they attacked Israel and started a war” but rather before.

You have your timeline muddled. The Palestinian Authority have been working with Israel since '93. They killed Nizar Banat for speaking against them in 2021.

You said “So being praised for not supporting Hamas after they attacked Israel and started a war makes you a traitor to Gaza?” Your point just doesn’t really make sense. You’re speaking as though history starts in October 2023.

Again, what have you read about Palestinian politics / the PA / the Oslo Accords?

Israel started the war by continuing occupation. Israel is the only one responsible for the genocide. It was always the case that the occupier is responsible for everything including terrorists attacks by the occupied

So being praised for not supporting Hamas after they attacked Israel and started a war makes you a traitor to Gaza?

Collaborating with an occupying force that arms settler terrorists and protect them and kill normal palestinians make you are traitors. Is that so hard to understand?

No, Hamas crossing the border and purposely targeting and murdering civilians was not justified, just like Israel doing it to civilians is not justified. Set aside your blatant bias and maybe you’ll be able to use your brain properly.
